Michelin-starred modern European restaurant Sir Elly’s has launched all-new seasonal weekend brunch. Weekend dining at The Peninsula Shanghai is a great gastronomic pleasure with the fabulous view and sophisticated weekend brunch at Sir Elly’s.
The all-new brunch menu emphasises seasonality with a vast selection of delicious dishes. Appetizers include a trio of ocean-fresh lobster, Alaskan king crab and abalone; Foie gras with homemade gingerbread crisp, created in house by celebrated Chef de Cuisine Hans Zahner and Executive Pastry Chef Lucien Gautier; Seasonal and sweet chestnut butternut squash soup with accents of earthy Yunnan black truffle and perfectly poached eggs served with a classic lobster sauce, basil oil and golden crouton ¬– a European brunch mainstay. The new selection of entrées includes roasted Wagyu beef flank with truffled potato cake and decadent cognac sauce and a slow-cooked Norwegian salmon confit with shitake mushroom, fresh seaweed and corn emulsion.
