Sir Elly’s presents delectable spring desserts by Lucien Gautier, the new Executive Pastry Chef at The Peninsula Shanghai. Chef Gautier previously worked for Alain Ducasse’s restaurants in France and the United States, and at the two Michelin starred Le Cinq restaurant in Paris. 

Chef Gautier’s style is classically French, but he likes to incorporate local flavours into his creations. Among this season’s sweet treats at Sir Elly’s is a Yuzu Mint Mojito, with crushed rum ice, Yuzu sorbet and white chocolate and mint foam; and a 33% Milk Chocolate Lingot with raspberry sorbet, crispy ganache and fresh blueberries; and a Coconut Lime Soufflé, with cranberry compote and mango sorbet. 

Each dessert is priced at RMB 110 and subject to a 16.6% surcharge
